libcurl3-nss software package provides easy-to-use client-side URL transfer library (NSS flavour), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcurl3-nss
libcurl3-nss is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcurl3-nss package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcurl3-nss *
You will get with libcurl3-nss package name, version, architecture and description in a table
